Has anyone actually used wireless CarPlay in a Gravity? If so, was your own Gravity or a tester? How well did it or work (or not work)?

According to the one known owner of a Gravity DE, CarPlay is not enabled yet. Hopefully will be soon.

Thanks for the post. My wife and I are very interested in the Gravity, but it feels too soon to buy. We’ll wait until they get it fully baked and maybe order one the end of the year or even next year. Our Mercedes EQS 580 SUV works beautifully with no glitches so we’ll just watch and wait for now. We also need to drive one of course, and there’s none near Central PA, where we live.

I'm curious about the CarPlay implementation as well. In one of the press videos a Lucid rep mentioned that CarPlay would take over the lower screen, but in a more recent video it was show on the upper screen, similar to the Air.

Welcome! I put 45K miles in our 23 ESQ 580 SUV before we traded it in for a Cybertruck. I miss the ARHUD the most and hope Gravity’s version is better.

Seems to me that getting CarPlay to work in the Gravity should be fairly straight forward since it's been available in most new cars for several years. This may indicate possible glitches their software team needs more time to resolve. Their interim CEO said recently that they want to get these issues resolved before demo testers to their Studios, sounds like a proper decision to me. I wouldn't want to drive some distance to test drive a Gravity only to experience software glitches. Take your time Lucid and get it right. That will work out much better for you and your customers.

My guess is just that Apple needs to certify it, and they couldn't do that on an unreleased car, maybe? But you're right, I don't think it will take long. Maybe I'll be wrong.
