Gravity Accessories Available in the Referral Rewards Store

Great news to Gravity Owners, accessories are now available in the referral rewards store.

Things to keep in mind before going ham on this:

• Redeeming points is a taxable action, and Lucid will send you Form 1099-MISC early next year to add your redeemed points to your income (subject to 1099-MISC reporting limits, last year it was $600, and should remain $600 for 2025 but will increase to $2k in 2026. Disclaimer: do your own research)
• Points will be valued at $0.125/point, I'll summarize the equivalent value of each item below, and compare them to the values in the regular accessories store (negative percentage means it's cheaper in the rewards store and vice versa)
• Sales tax is not included, it'll be added when you check out based on your delivery address, and you should consider it when calculating your 1099-MISC added income.
• Shipping is free, which is a huge advantage when compared to the regular accessories store.

It does not work for me, and redirects to the "reservations and orders" page. I'm glad to hear it's not just me!

Go to the account tab in the lower right corner, then click on referrals right under your name, the link to the rewards store is at the bottom of that page

Hmmm it’s supposed to be on the left side of the help box right below your name. Try restarting the app by completely closing it and opening it again

Oh that’s probably why @jered isn't seeing it. But if a Gravity owner refers someone to get a Lucid Air, technically they should be eligible for referral points, no? This is probably a @marqie question

Yeah it doesn’t show up sometimes. I haven’t seen any rhyme or reason.

Yeah, it clearly *should* work, and my SA was pushing back in July that I should refer people to get points for accessories. The referral page has never worked (I took delivery June 30) but it's not something I've raised because... clearly nobody is employed to work on the website. Still shows an Air picture assets, release note/manual links all error out -- there's obviously not even an intern working on making the website functional, so complaining is unlikely to do any good.

I've seen a few people on Reddit complain that the referral link doesn't work for them either but they were Air owners and had to call Lucid to get it activated, so likely something similar here?

I don’t see it in the app or online. Not sure why they don’t just let everyone access it and then, if you’re signed into your account, you could see your points available, etc. Kind of annoying to have it walled off when there’s nothing unique in the store to hide…

Count blessings for delays. The rewards get taxed as earned income. The deminimus rule in reporting changes Jan 1. In high tax brackets there is no saving for a charger say vs other brand for cash. And the costs of dealing with accountants and other paperwork all worse if you are not perfect with little pieces of paper by USPS. ( and accountants asking on their checklist for years to come as mine do -‘where is that?’
