Getting creative with extra Service Capacity

Cue the jokes about self-servicing fobs and door handles:) Otherwise this could actually help albeit seems kinda overkill.
It actually is really slick. They had a similar buildout in the Air prior to the Gravity existing, but the Gravity is obviously way better for it.

I'm not going to take the low hanging fruit, but MAN, there a lot of service jokes wanting to be let out on this thread...

Yeah I was just kidding about having a 500-800hp service van, but actually good to see Lucid could leverage the Gravity platform into many other things, they could massively decontent and rebadge as an autonomous delivery van for Nuro as well (I am sure they have had the thought after their little pizza box that drove on the sidewalk failed)....

I miss VC-subsidized pizza

As a startup founder, VC-funded free/cheap pizza basically fed my team and I for like 3 years 🤣

ping pong tables
We had one, what’s it to ya?

I played ping pong with a decent number of now-billionaires at that very table.

I was better at ping pong than many of them. Perhaps that’s why they’re the now-billionaires.

i told my brother in law that he was "wasting his money" buying bitcoins for a few hundred each when he was telling me about it.

Anways I don't think he has to work anymore. He does, but I'm pretty sure its optional.

I literally gave a presentation to some friends in 2012 when bitcoin was $16 telling them it was trash. This was right after mt gox got hacked

I also told the founders of stripe it was a terrible idea; that’s back when it was called /dev/payments, which, admittedly, was a *terrible* name

Every time I think I might be smart I look back at all the ways in which I am an idiot and remind myself of them, and there are *many* :)

That’s how I know I both suck and don’t, simultaneously.

I'm still not buying into the crypto stuff......no matter how high Bitcoin goes.

2008ish, my friends uncle works at Oracle. Invites him to come to lunch with his boss, meet him and network.

They go to a fancy lunch. Boss pulls out a purple credit card and pays for their meal. My buddy goes “haha where did you get a stupid purple credit card hahahaaaa what a dork ”. Boss goes “we do a lot of business with them I guess”.

Anyways it was the Amex “eggplant” card that requires 2.5mm a year in purchases to get, and the boss was Larry Ellison. My buddy was not invited back.
