Ran into a weird one today. ‘25 Air Touring. Was packing for a trip and had the frunk and trunk open for about 20 minutes. When I went to close them, they wouldn’t close- via the app, touch screen or physical buttons.
Rebooted the software (upgraded to 2.7 a few days ago) via the Air logo long press. That didnt help. Eventually I closed both manually, which I had hesitated to do because I’ve heard that not a great way to close the frunk.
I browsed this forum and found mention of this behavior, which apparently can happen after the frunk/trunk for longer than 5-10 minutes. So it sounds like it might be “as designed”. If so, I guess its ok to close the frunk manually? Also, what is the idea behind this “feature”? I can see why you might be worried that a kid got in one of the spaces- but at least keep the physical buttons enabled…
Thanks!
