That info is Gemini makingAccording to Google, it should have blind-spot camera and Surround View. I don't know whether this info is dated or if Lucid changed the Pure's equipment.

My late 2023 has blanks where the extra cameras would go.That info is Gemini makingup. Dream Drive basic never included those features. Up until midway through 2023, all cars included all of the hardware to simplify production, but you had to pay extra to turn it on. That is no longer the case, 2024+ Airs (and I believe some 2023 model years) sold with Dream Drive basic cannot be upgraded to Premium, and Premium cannot be upgraded to Pro. Same with Surreal Sound basic / Pro.

Birds-eye view (synthetic) camera has been in cars for almost a decade. It is great for backing up and be able to see your surroundings. The added cost of implementation is trivial. My late 2023 has blanks where the extra cameras would go.
It’s not synthetic. It uses actual cameras around the car and then “stitches” them together to create a birds-eye view. Every car with a surround view option has multiple cameras. I believe you have a Rivian right? Go look around, there are cameras in every mirror and front that face down to create a Birds Eye view. You can put your finger over these cameras and your Birds Eye view will disappear in that one areaBirds-eye view (synthetic) camera has been in cars for almost a decade. I understand how manufacturers want to differentiate their SKUs in a pricing stack by adding/deleting features. But market dynamics will eventually determine the outcome.
I understand what are saying. It is synthetic to me, because there was never a camera that saw the top pf the car. It is a jig-saw view with some real camera feeds. It’s not synthetic. Correct, but since DreamDrive cars don’t have any cameras, it can not simulate a Birds Eye view.I understand what are saying. It is synthetic to me, because there was never a camera that saw the top pf the car. It is a jig-saw view with some real camera feeds.

You mean, AI can be "wrong?"! I can't believe this is true! AI is suppose to be our future!Rule #1 of AI generated responses: Always be skeptical of the response.
I have the same issues with parking using basic dream drive. I'd love to be able to upgrade to a 360 view or interested to know if anyone has added an aftermarket product that they are happy with.I have a 2024 Air Pure base model with Dream Drive, not equipped with DD Premium or Pro options, also no hardware or additional front/360 cameras for a software upgrade.
Not having a front camera make it really hard to park at outside parking lots with curbs or block slabs placed in various heights., with out seeing it. The park sensors sometimes work, but can not rely on it.
Anyone retrofited a generic front camera with a standaline display on their Lucids ?
Looking for options on how others handled/handling this.
I have a 2025 pure, but it does not have a 360 view. I find back-in parking easier than forward-parking, because then I at least have the rear camera.I believe newer production '25 Pure's come standard with the 360 cameras. My '24 Pure does not have cameras in the side mirrors, just plastic plug fittings.
While AI does have hallucinations, note that in this case it referred to the cameras as part of the 3D monitoring system which was available on the Pure via the Premium option. You mean, AI can be "wrong?"! I can't believe this is true! AI is suppose to be our future!![]()
