Glad people are picking up and writing about Lucid, but didn't the GT always have an EPA range above 500 going back to when they first released it?

Correct. This article, while a nice acknowledgement of Lucid engineering superiority, is a bit sloppy. It opened by saying that EVs were still seeking to cross the 500-mile range mark but then later listed a couple of situations in which Lucid has already done it. It also said the difference between 430 hp and 406 hp was 14 hp, so arithmetic is not the author's strong suite, either -- rather odd for a technical writer and an editor (if there was one) at a science magazine.
