Do these not come with FM Radio? There's an option to select but it won't tune to any station nor browse/scroll. It's not often I would use it but that's all my wife has on when she's around town. She created an iHeart Radio account as a stop-gap (which probably sounds better anyways).

Apologies for the odd question but "FM" is too short to return search results on the forum.

It does work in mine... The last tab, if my memory serves me well, is "All". That's where you get the list of stations. Then you can add some to Favorites

Works on mine too, but I've heard better FM car tuners in my day.

There's also TuneIn as well for radio. Streaming is fine... as long as one has cellular service. It's a big complaint of mine in general for the way autos are heading.

Yeah, there's FM radio but no AM radio IIRC (I've not been able to get AM stations but have definitely gotten FM radio)

Agreed, FM Radio signal strength is not as good as any other car i've owned. TuneIn and iHeartRadio should help. However, note that if you listen to live sports, sometimes those broadcasts are restricted on the tunein / iheartradio stations. just have to accept that for what it is unfortunately.

I think Gravity's FM tuner is better than was our Air's, seems OK.

At least here in NY, the main AM stations have FM frequencies as well

don't get me started on AM. Tesla started a bad trend of not putting in filters and shielding to quell EV EMI hash.

The Air did it, not sure why they punted on that with the Gravity.

(and some of the AM programming that's out there isn't the point)

In HD Radio, the stations use one channel for FM and another one (HD2) for AM in many cases

I love the fact that a thread about terrestrial radio is getting so much attention! It truly explains Lucid's demographics 😂
Let me start one complaining about the lack of an 8 track player...

Yes - that is nice. The problem with that though, is the FM stations usually are not as strong as the AM stations, at least in my area. I think cars should be required to have AM radio still. I listen to a lot of sports radio and local news and AM is still the best, most reliable to pull that in. I know TuneIn and others have that too and I do use that (and like that when traveling), but AM is still the most reliable, constant signal.

That's true, the AM signal has wider and longer reach.

I tried but they couldn’t find the right parts. They built this for me. Two days in the shop. Unmatched Sonics.

The only thing that gives away this being AI generated is not the build nor the concept; that is actually easily imaginable.

What is not is the fact that on the screen it says that the car is playing “vinyl”: someone at Lucid would have had to do something with the software….. not imaginable. 😂

I did some googling it and found some results re: FM radio saying a soft reset was needed. I did that...no change. FM won't respond to any direct channel entry and not even static. It's like the FM tuner was not installed at the factory in the first place, the way it responds
