A lady just rear ended me at a red light yesterday. She just let off her brake and let her SUV rolled up to my rear. The damage is small only a small dent on the bumper and some scratches. I’m going after her insurance. I’ll get an estimate from a Lucid certified body shop.

This is my first leased vehicle. Do I need to notify Lucid Financial right away or wait until the lease inspection? Are they going to charge me more at lease end even though the car is repaired?

If it’s repaired, you won’t be charged more at inspection.

How long until your lease ends? Otherwise agree with Borski, get insurance to pay for fixing it and everything will go smoother later...If you are in Chicago, the Goose Island Service has a Lucid approved body shop right near it.

My lease ends in 4 months. I already submitted some photos to O’Hare Auto Body.

One thing to keep in mind: if the car is still in the body shop for some reason (unlikely), you’re still responsible for lease payments until it’s out.

You don’t need to report anything to Lucid. Let your insurance know what occurred, a copy of the police report, any dashcam video and their job is to go after the other party’s insurance. You just need to return the Air so it meets the T&Cs of the lease.
