This is definitely known on the forums -- and it's very hard to characterize. I've noticed the massage sometimes stop after a period of time, only some of the massagers working, and also not being able to turn it on at all. Some of this suggests an overheat-protection mechanism, but it's probably just another software bug.
They could also be used for restraining misbehaving children.Totally random one today. The four metal (I believe) tie downs for cargo in the trunk are a good feature. I highly doubt I will ever use them as I’ve never used the ones on our R1S that look like they could be used for repelling points.
But, as we enter the holiday season, I am sure some folks will have good use for them and it’s a thoughtful design piece. My hope is it helps folks avoid the Christmas Vacation look.
I've had a few instances where the touchscreen glitches out and it cannot turn on massaging (it looks like it's stuck in an inconsistent state in the UI, the button turns itself off), but then I have a custom shortcut set on the physical buttons and that seems to work all the time and bypasses the touchscreen glitchiness.
Have you tried this while there are people in the backseat? I’m curious to know whether this feature is disabled while there is someone in the backseat. I was driving carpool the other night and really tempted to use the headrest drop to bop an annoying child in the head.

Yup. It’ll also lower the rear shade in the Air if you have it up (I know this thread is Gravity, but it’s a good indicator that they think about this and it isn’t a fluke)
Huge fan of real buttons! This was one of my reasons getting the Air. I didn’t want to navigate through 2 screens and five clicks to move the air vents, increase/decrease temperature, and change music volume. There are certain things where technology overcomplicates simple tactile mechanical function.
You know, this actually answers a question that my wife asked me recently. We have an aftermarket hook in our current car that won't work int he Gravity and she was wondering if the Gravity had a good hook in the back (the one in our current car is so small it barely fits one hangar).

That’s accurate. The only really noticeable “accent” light is on the windshield. That pic is really a great representation. The others DO change color, but it’s hard to notice.
Four wire hangers on the hook were no problem. Obviously the handle itself can handle a lot more but they’d be at the wrong angle.
