Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

Todays feature is simple but so helpful.

The magnetic storage tops on left and right side of trunk storage areas. Much better than what Tesla and Rivian provide (at least on models I have) and just the right amount of strength/holding power. I also like that they are not carpeted, but some sort of strong plastic. Thoughtful.

I DO have an iPhone and keep meaning to try those. I will try them tonight. Have you tried? I can tell you the drink open one won’t work for me! 😢

I don’t typically use Siri as I find it not very helpful/accurate - I always need to repeat myself or there’s a delay. It may have gotten better, but I am spoiled by a home control system we use that is next to perfect for voice…

Tell (show) us how it will look when you get it back.

This is water under the bridge, but a premium PPF like ClearGuard Alpha often makes ceramic coating unnecessary, with excellent self-healing properties (no heat needed). I used in on my Air and the car looks like it is wet all the time. No hard water buildup and bugs come off the bumper with window cleaner and blue scouring spong.

Same folks make Spectra PhotoSync, the top TSER window tint.

Oh ceramic is only for all the wheels & glass (window shield, roof, driver & passenger windows, etc...)
PPF is xPEL satin matte, so no need to ceramic
My installer only offer Huper Optik, I will have to find another installer for Spectra Photosync
 
My feature of the day is my Dream Drive Premium. Yea I didn’t spring for the Pro. It does exactly what I want on the highway.
Cruise tracks the car in front with a selectable distance, lane keeping does just what it is supposed to and a flick of the turn signal changes lanes when safe to do so with a very robust acceleration into the new lane. AND all I need to do is rest one hand on the squircle.
 
Today’s feature, after a little bit of a break, is the tray tables in the back seat. They’re really not a gimmick as I’ve had two awesome use cases.

1) Work - waiting for my kids at soccer, etc I just sit in the back and put laptop in it and can get work done. Very very comfortable and great to have the usb c charger there.

2) Play - Easy for kids to use it for their iPads and for drawing while roadtripping. One day maybe they can eat on it, but car is still in the “new car so don’t eat or drink in it” phase.

I need to remember they are there! I move the driver seat all the way back and try to find a comfy way to work. Must remember the trays in back!!
 
Did you know you can turn off the fan ventilation for the front passenger via the pilot panel?
When driving alone it isn't necessary to vent the front passenger (like how you can turn ventilation off with no rear occupants)
Particularly useful when your SO temperture preference is difference from yours & they don't want any air venting at all

I thought they were a gimmick too at first but they are super useful! I use them to work on my laptop while waiting for my kids’ couple of minutes of action at 5+ hour swim meets. It makes the Gravity an amazing office on the road. One thing that took me longer to figure out than it should have is that you can adjust the height of the tray table by moving the seat it’s connected to up or down 🤦‍♂️
 
A helpful feature I found this morning is a video on the Serenity screen showing how the capacitive touch pads on the steering wheel work.
 
I like how when you have adaptive cruise control active and it's showing the lane visualization and cars around you that it has a very clear blind spot indicator that appears at the appropriate back corner of the mini Gravity. I just wish I could keep it visible all the time, not only when Dream Drive is active.
