Favorite Gravity Feature of the Day

I love the view from the driver’s seat. The cool Cockpit screen, the fabric, the sweeping curves, the view that goes from the hood to over my head, even the fake vent windows.

I love this car!

New one. Been a longtime. I like the ability to fold just second row middle down as a pass through for skis, 2x4s, etc. Not unique, but helpful.
My grandkids use it as an alternative to captain's chairs to get to the 3rd row...

Wait.....what!? I thought it was only a 60/40 split. How do you fold down just the middle? Don't tell the kids, they will kill me - we took many skiing roadtrips that involved them sitting next to each other in the middle + driver's side seats because the passenger seat was folded flat for skis. :)

Use the strap on the back of the seat.

Black strap at the top of the middle section. Just pull it up...

Brand new feature for me. I had no idea you could do this and I use my Gravity as a truck sometimes, conduit , 2x4s etc.

Make sure you protect the second row LCD when you load long items. I saw on Facebook where someone broke their LCD when a ladder hit it.

I know this isn’t a new feature but I love the one pedal driving of our Gravity. The regen is strong enough to bring the vehicle to a complete stop and then it puts on the hold. I only touch the brake for unexpected events. I love driving our Bear.

Front of venue parking! This past weekend I went to a concert and I had a valet parking pass. As I pulled up to the valet parking line, the head valet jogged up to me, so I flashed him the pass. He said “Yeah, that pass is good but I can’t drive that” as he points to my Gravity and proceeds to tell me to back up and pull into one of the spots in front. Funny thing, I noticed a Tesla and couple of Cadillac EVs in valet line with no issue, so not sure if the Lucid being EV was the issue. Of course it could be that he previously parked one a couple months ago and had the fob refuse to work and decided he did not want to deal with that issue again.

We were at a high-end steakhouse with my nephew. As we're leaving, a white Ferrari parked right in front, looking smoking hot, as they do. My nephew took a few pictures then got into the Gravity for the ride home. He was quiet for a bit, on his phone, then said, "Aha! It's actually a little bit faster than your car!" I love being the fastest car in *most* parking lots.

I love that I don't have to hold the brake pedal down at a red light. The car stands still by itself, so I can keep my foot over the accelerator and take off faster than other people who have to move their foot from the brake pedal to accelerator first. Helped me a lot when I had to switch lanes right after a red light to get to the on ramp.

Snug cup holders. I know a lot of people think they’re too tight, but I came to appreciate them. Drinks don’t spill under hard emergency breaking. Second row passenger drinks went flying…

Drinks come out fine with a little bit of wiggle. You get used to it, and I very much appreciate the holding power under braking, acceleration, and cornering.

I really appreciate the power frunk. Since I’m in the habit of backing in to parking spots the frunk is always handy when bringing packages from the store. I’ll usually open it from a good distance with the fob. Very convenient to place a couple of bags in and get going.

... only if if didn't take 3 attempts to get it to open... 🙂

3.6.0 completely fixed this for me. It opens a little slower but hasn't failed since the update.

Mine went from 2 to 3 tries after 3.6. I'm starting to think that this freaking car is either cursed or maybe it just hates me 😂

Glad to see the "Gravity Favorite Feature of the Day" thread revived.

Might I add in those grab handles above the doors? Nice to hold onto while my wife is driving. Wish my 4x4 truck had them.
