I am driving a 2025 Touring purchased this past December. When I started the car this afternoon I got an alert saying the Face Recognition" is no longer working and have this error on the dashboard:

I rebooted the system but no luck. I'm waiting to hear from Customer Support. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Possible your steering wheel position is such that the camera can't see your face.

It's not a big deal. Face recognition isn't used for much. Yet.

Agreed, I'm not particularly alarmed but I'll see what the wizards at Lucid have to say.

The facial recognition camera is the rectangular black thing attached to and just under the display. You have to position the steering wheel a little lower that you'd expect so that the steering column doesn't block the camera.

I am having the same issue. Has it been resolved? I

Move your steering wheel up or down. The camera isn’t seeing your face.
Yes, that seems to have resolved the problem. That said, with the steering wheel in this new position it is now blocking portions of the dashboard display.

Now u have to adjust ur seating ;)

Riiiiiigth ... but if I readjust the seat, I'll again risk obscuring the facial recognition camera. That's the whole dilemma.
