Lucid Air Grand Touring
I just wanted to share my recent experience with Lucid service. About a month after I purchased my AGT, the honeymoon was starting to wear off and I started to notice that the car did not appear to deliver on the promise of 500+ miles range to a charge. I was starting to get concerned and wondered if I should reach out to Lucid about it. But before I could even reach out, I was floored when someone from Lucid proactively reached out to me. They informed me that my car was flagged as having a battery that was not performing optimally and that they would like to take my car in for service to swap out the battery. The benefits of a connected car I guess! After getting over the shock of having them reach out with a solution before I even told them about my problem, they then explained and executed on what can only be described as the most pleasant car service experience I have ever had in my life. After agreeing to a service date, they show up at my house on the day with a flatbed truck and another AGT. They drop off the AGT for me to use as a loaner while they pick up my AGT and haul it down to Houston (I live in North Texas). Only a rare Texas snowstorm prevented me from getting my repaired AGT back within 3 days when service was completed. But I was eventually returned my AGT and when they showed back up with it in a trailer and took away the loaner. The whole experience beginning to end was incredible. It could not have been more convenient, easy, and satisfying.

Great! Are you now getting the 500+ miles range with the new battery?

I appear to be, yes! I mean, I've never taken it down to zero but the math checks out based on how much I'm driving it between charges.

Interesting. My Pure is now in Michigan (I live in Louisville, KY) for a few minor repairs and the recall harness repair. They picked it up by flatbed but offered no loaner despite my asking. The rented me a Chevy Malibu from Enterprise until it returns. Liveable but not the same as loaners I’ve gotten with my other luxury cars.
