After seeing so many comments about what people have owned and driven, prior to purchasing a Lucid I thought it might be fund to give people a chance to talk about what they've owned, leading up to their Lucid. I'll start:

I started with Honda Accords. Great cars. Eventually graduated to an Acura TSX. Lemme tell ya...that car was sweet.

On a parallel track, post kids, owned two mini-vans. I don't care what y'all think...those things were great with little kids and all the junk we lugged around. My wife (her primary car) had to be forced to move on. Eventually moved over to our Ascent (Onyx)...a great SUV. But I digress...

Eventually moved on from my TSX, giving it to my eldest, who promptly wrecked it. (He was ok...the car was not.). Turned to Audi A6s which I loved. When it was time to replace it, the price was crazy and started to look around. Ultimately, found Lucid. Hot as hell, $20K more than a new Audi and $370/month less on a lease.

Loving the Lucid...hopefully over time the love affair continues. (It's only been a few weeks.)

Who's next?

Loved reading your vehicle history. I totally relate.

My own journey’s been a wild but satisfying one too. Started with a Tesla Model S back in 2016. That thing was a rocket, and my first taste of electric performance and owning a vehicle tbh, but the Tesla interior fit and finish and overall rattle box state left a lot to be desired. From there, I went through a couple of solid Benzes: a C300 and then an S550. The 550 was like driving a cloud—luxury and comfort dialed all the way up. My business partner at the time talked me into that just by driving his up and down the hill to our golf club.

But once I made the jump to Lucid in 2022 with a Grand Touring, I was hooked. The range, refinement, luxury, driving feel and sheer presence of the car just blew everything else out of the water. I added the other Lucid's to the collection and all three are incredible in their own ways, but that GT-P really knows how to move. (Trying to keep miles off it! haha.)

Now I’m eyeing a Sapphire in 2025/2026… we’ll see how that goes, but if Lucid keeps this up, it’s going to be hard to walk away. It’s been a great run so far. Each car had its charm, but Lucid just hits different.
