Too bad they can paint one in chrome before they could paint one in Lunar Titanium 😢

I'm pretty sure that is a color wrap. There are a few sport cars on the road with it . . . at least until they get creamed by a driver who was blinded by a sun reflection.

But I'm with you on the Lunar Titanium. I was hoping it would make its way to the Gravity Dream Edition (along with the Ojai interior), but it doesn't seem to be making its way anywhere.

As an investor, I'm not happy with what they're doing with this marketing tactic other than to attempt to pump the stock. All these presentations and materials cost money, our investor's money, and the ONLY thing they should be doing now is deliver Gravity to customers that have already preordered. When more customers get their hands on Gravity and the public starts seeing more driving around, it'll bring in more customers. This event better fare VERY WELL or I wouldn't be surprised the stock drops even more.

I respectfully disagree. The cost of a couple of instagram reels is basically nothing, and hosting an event at a studio they're already paying rent for is hardly a big deal. And this is a brand that most people have never heard of, so trying to catch a little viral lightning in a bottle is not a bad plan.

What *will* be very disappointing is if they can't follow this up with deliveries, or at least clearer answers about deliveries. They're increasing the buzz.... which is needed for a car brand with microscopic market penetration. But there needs to be some steak to go with the sizzle.

How is this an attempt to pump the stock?

As an investor I see this as a marketing event to create brand awareness, something Lucid can absolutely benefit from. I'm all for it.

I've never publicly said this but when I was visiting the opening of the Pasadena studio. I spoke with the sales person there, and I mentioned that I've been waiting for this specific studio to open for a very long time. He told me Lucid operations forgot they had the lease to this location, and it was not until a new COO was hired, Marc, did an internal audit revealed they held a lease for the Pasadena location but were not using it.

Now take that with a grain of salt, but I can tell you that location was "coming soon" for a very long time. It is pretty much right in the middle of Colorado, and I bet the rent was not that cheap.

So as an investor, the example above is something I don't find acceptable. However, spending money to generate brand awareness and excitement for a new product? I'll vote for that with my 61K shares all day everyday.

As an investor I am all for this - brand awareness needs improvement.

That said, personally I would have parked the Gravity on top of a Cybertruck - that would have grabbed lots of free press!

61k shares? Damn, that's deep commitment.
Easily could have owned a Sapphire by now.

On the verge of pulling the trigger for a Gravity if I can lease it.

Will happily accept a "Verified Investor" badge, if a moderator wants to confirm share ownership.

I see they are in the program for the NY Auto Show (next month). They have not displayed there before. The real question is do they just bring an Air or will a production Gravity be at the show?

So you're saying the chrome plated Gravity and the materials for this presentation are free? What about shipping this Gravity to NYC studio? And wrapping it if it's not chrome paint? The personnel required to organize this event? These stuff aren't free...

If most people have not heard of Lucid, I am aware that consumers in Europe bought more Lucids than Model S. If the Europeans are aware of Lucid, then I am pretty certain that Americans are well aware of Lucid. For people that are not aware of Lucid, it's either they can't afford it or for the people who can afford it did some comparison shopping with competitors and realize Lucid isn't worth that value. Lucid's tech is strong, but software is seriously lacking.

Instead of doing this publicity event for Gravity that I'm willing to bet it's just another showcase of their tech, why not improve on the software of Lucid Air? It's been like what, over 3 months since their last feature update? If Lucid have so much time on their hands to do this event, as an investor, it's frowned upon that they can't focus what REALLY matters...

What would this event accomplish that we're not aware of? HUD? We're aware of that... The serene background on the console screen while meditating? Yeah we know about that. The sentry mode? Yeah we know it comes with that.

This is all common sense Lucid, c'mon now...

Just about all of my friends and family, when seeing my Air ask me "what is that"? When I say a Lucid Air - they have no literally no idea of what Lucid is. Even when it says Lucid on the back they still can't associate.

Brand awareness is the problem - people aren't even weighing these as options when shopping for a vehicle. Engineering and further polishing of nano details in the software and hardware are not the problem. Need a CEO that knows how to promote, market and sell at scale.

If I haven't spent $500k on buying LCID shares, I would be shorting this to oblivion ... Engineering is great, but common sense lacks...
