There’s nothing wrong with the engineering / hardware of the vehicle, It got let down by the software. I’ve said multiple times in here that if Lucid had of focused as much time on software as they did engineering they’d have a damn near perfect car.Would you mind answering my question above? If software were fully fixed, would you otherwise be happy/satisfied with the vehicle or are you also disappointed with parts of the hardware and would advise folks wanting to buy to wait?
Is that so? I saw the gravity launch in Nov/Dec 2024. Did they actually pause the launch and re-launch in March 2025? I thought it was a ramp from Dec through now. Maybe you’re referring to preproduction vs full production? I never said Marc was blameless, he is totally responsible for the response to the issues, which should have been much sooner and more direct. Perhaps he could have stepped in on day 1 and stopped production/sales from ramping. But I’m guessing the board had a huge say in whether that was going to happen or not.For sure but to make out it was all Peter’s fault and Marc didn’t play a role in this is naive.
Thank you. After last update, I feel pretty good about buying. I feel confident that updates will keep on coming to make it better. Annoying they don’t offer financing in NJ. Apparently there are licensing restrictions, per the SA from CA. They need to figure that out before they release the Earth as most folks need favorable financing to purchase. To me, it’s an inconvenience to pay 4% vs. 2% but not prohibitive. Anyway…There’s nothing wrong with the engineering / hardware of the vehicle, It got let down by the software. You’ll be happy with your purchase I’m sure! The car is amazing. 3.3.20 and the update to come will make it the way it should have been - exhilarating to drive and extremely predictable/reliable to live with. All the interior amenities are amazing too.Thank you. After last update, I feel pretty good about buying. I feel confident that updates will keep on coming to make it better. I love mine. Yes, I have had software hiccups and just at thanksgiving started having the key/console problem and I still love it and would buy it all over again.Question for folks. Are people overall happy with the hardware or do you feel you wish you waited until next year’s model to fix some of those issues (water leaking in frunk, as an example)? I’m asking as a prospective buyer.
Thanks.
Looks like they actually read the "Open letter to Lucid" that @zoomzoom reposted from FB...View attachment 35255View attachment 35256View attachment 35259View attachment 35260
Nothing we haven’t heard from @nicktwork but good to see it come from the top.
Agree... Having to work with both Lucid and banks to secure delivery and financing for it has been painful in my experience. Tried to work with PenFed as they have the lowest rates, but ended up being an exercise on patience and endurance.Thank you. After last update, I feel pretty good about buying. I'm not a mod, but your question is clearly in the wrong thread.Would you mind answering my question above? If software were fully fixed, would you otherwise be happy/satisfied with the vehicle or are you also disappointed with parts of the hardware and would advise folks wanting to buy to wait?
I saw that as well, but left it alone since the member received a response and seems satisfied with the response.I'm not a mod, but your question is clearly in the wrong thread.
I don't have many either other than the ever present Tidal glitch. I've said it dozens of times and I'll say it again, the Tidal app needs a complete over haul!!Guess I'm outta the loop: don't have software issues.![]()
Didn't mean to be as blunt as it sounded either. Being a mod here must be like a professional cat herder.Yes, understood. Didn’t mean to detract. Folks were complaining about hardware issues in this thread hence my question. We often go off topic for a bit before coming back to the topic at hand.

Same here. The tidal glitch, plus the various Tidal breakage are by far what is making my experience of the car less enjoyable. But to be fair, a lot of this is also on the Tidal Software team. And I don't think Lucid can really prevent them from breaking their own appI don't have many either other than the ever present Tidal glitch.
