Yeah I forgot about that dumb test haha. I don’t think anyone edits the articles there either, there’s very little signs they were reviewed for accuracy or writing quality before publishing.Yes on both counts.
When I was considering a new car purchase, after I had finished poring over the hard-core car magazine reviews of engine power, shift points, valve and fuel injection technology, etc., I used to turn to Edmunds to get their take on what the car was like in 95% of its use cases.
No more. Not since Edmunds tested a Lucid Air on 19" all-season tires against an Acura NSX on fat summer rubber to pass judgment on the Lucid's supposedly inferior handling and braking have I taken Edmunds seriously. They've become just another cog in the click-bait grinder that is most of the press and internet these days.
