Easy Entry and Seat Adjustment

3.x is the Gravity software. There is no information on what 3.x for Air could be or when.
Oh I was referring to future Air upgrades. Didn’t know if there were any reasonable rumors, that kind of thing.

No worries; I figured you’re new so was just clarifying, heh. But yeah, no rumors yet.

Mine has never worked since delivery 21 months ago.
Service has looked at it three different times with no success.
The last time they blamed it on software, I have my doubts.
I’ll have them give it another try at the two-year service and see what happens.
My car is now in for its 2 year service. Easy exit has never worked unless the seat is as far forward as it can be.
They are again trying to tell me this is normal.
I told them it makes no sense for me to adjust the seat forward to get easy exit to work. I might as well just lower the seat manually.
Am I correct that easy exit works on most cars not matter what your normal seat position is?

Correct, but, it only goes back, not forward. But it does it from any position.
You are correct. Lucid can’t get this simple thing to work like other cars. Even my Subaru Outback has easy entry and it works.

yeah its on my list next to preconditioning that doesn't work, slow unlocks, and creep mode that doesn't make sense. Hope they fix it, maybe a big 3.0 update idk.

I struggle to understand some of their choices.

OP- I am surprised you're getting pushback about this, I'm no fan of Lucid service but they legit haven't tried to not fix anything I mentioned.

After 9 days I was told my car is ready to be picked up.
I asked if the Easy Exit was fixed. They said nothing was changed because it is working properly. I asked him if he personally tried it and he said it works for him. I then asked, why does it not work for me? His answer:
"I am 5'6" tall and you are about 5'11". Meaning that I have the seat back too far for it to work.

I then said, "then why does the loaner Lucid you gave me work fine for me?"
We then went around in circles so I gave up.

I am picking the car up tomorrow.
I know the easy exit thing is not that big a deal but I wonder how other people would handle this?

I picked up my car and surprisingly Easy Entry now works for the first time since new 2 years ago.
They claim they did nothing to fix it.

I did have the CCCv2 upgrade installed.
Maybe that reset something?

How is it supposed to work? Mine just goes all the way back and is useless.

That is how it’s supposed to work.

It being useless is a personal opinion :p

I need it for short people!
Someone might argue that using a stick to poke the break is necessary to set your profile position because it’s rocket science for Lucid to allow owners to set the easy entry/exit distance. 🤣

Nah nobody would argue that
