Easy Entry and Apple car play issues

Make sure your location settings are set to precise, and always allowed.

Also, you may need to tap your phone to wake it up (or shake it or walk with a swagger) to force Bluetooth to wake up.

Yeah settings are already as you mention. Thanks.

On the seat issue- on some updates the seat needs to be "homed"
In my case it would periodically lose homing and after the third or fourth time they just replaced the seat. Haven't had an issue since.
Spoke to Coldeater MI service center, they think it's software issue, they think that the software 'misbehaves' if the seat is set too close or too far back. I am barely 5 feet so that's that, not much i can do about that, they are taking the car to the service center so the engineers can look at the seat hardware and hopefully also the software.

hoping that i grow a few inches or the seat issue is fixed lol

Our 2023 Pure driver seat will recognize my wife for seat adjustment at least 50% of the time when we both enter the car even though I am in the driver seat. Also the seat sometimes refuses to adjust to my settings whether we are both in the car or just me. The car also misbehaves in various other ways but none of the misbehavior happens consistently. Sometimes the car will connect with my iphone for audio books or music & other times it refuses to connect no matter what I try, in fact the car will occasionally prevent my phone from playing anything at all. Occasionally the car will not go from park to drive or from drive to reverse. I have to repeatedly depress the brake until it finally moves into the drive mode I want. This is just some of the inconsistencies the software displays. So far I have just accepted this behavior as part of the character of the car which we have owned since July, 2024. I intended to point these issues out sometime in the future when the car goes in for service.
Our Teslas occasionally exhibit confusion about who is in driver seat… If the driver hops out to run quick errand and other key remains in car… the driver disconnects and the car syncs up with passenger’s key… tricky to solve for I would guess. Looking forward to experiencing it with a new Dream Edition Gravity soon.

Hmmm. In my Audi, CarPlay will continue to play--even with the ignition off--until I open the door. Then it immediately stops. My car doesn't have auto lock/unlock--evrything is controlled by door handle sensors. I gather this isn't the way CarPlay works with the Air?

No Air seems to think that the driver will return and continues to play audio, CarPlay or otherwise. I do not understand why Air thinks the driver will always return, the audio should pause once the driver's side front door opens. Even if the car expects me to return, the audio should pause upon exit.
