Lucid Air Touring
Curious if anyone feels the same way: I have a 2023 GT, but only received the free 6 months of 360 cameras and advanced audio, which BTW was not properly explained at POS. Nevertheless, I LOVE my car unequivocally, even with a few issues that needed to get worked out over the years (BTW - awesome service!), and have defended Lucid countless times on Facebook from BS posts on fake accounts However, after pricing out for a new 2026 with the same trim, is $15K+ less than what I paid, which makes sense as early adopters did pay a premium and prices have dropped considerably. However, that pricing for the 2026 actually comes with the Premium 360 cameras included, which I find to be HUGELY unfair and have expressed that dissatisfaction to Lucid on several occasions. I love Lucid so much that I've even racked up 50K in referral points (I think that shows my overall satisfaction and brand loyalty), and have offered to trade in ALL of those points simply to turn my 360 cameras and audio features back on. Last time I checked, they want an additional $2500 just to turn on just the cameras, don't recall how much for the advanced audio. From an accounting standpoint, given what's in the rewards store, it would actually make sense for them to take all my points simply just to "flip a switch" in the back office, especially since they are now offering these features for free basically. I thought I would take my disappointment to the forum to see what other early adopters and loyalists feel about this and how we might possibly convince Lucid to simply do the right thing given what we paid, the amount of depreciation already on the cars and what they are offering to new owners. Any class of car for the price we paid would have had those cameras and audio already included, and then some, which of course explains why these features are free now. Thoughts?

Prices can fluctuate up and down. Both sides agree on what features at what price at a specific time.

Not unique to Lucid. In 2018, owners get a dumb cruise as standard in Tesla. One year after that, 2019 till now, they got Autopilot as standard without paying extra and without asking for it.

Help me understand this please. The 2023 Air GT doesn’t have 360° cameras without an additional payment of $2500? Is this like Surround View shown here?

Does that include 2023 Air GTs that have DreamDrive Pro?

The year after I bought my Mazda 3 they offered CarPlay. The year after I bought my Ioniq 5, they offered wireless CarPlay and digits key.

I got none of those, because I made a deal the prior year for the car I bought. There is no “most favored nation” pricing when it comes to cars.

You were happy with the deal when you bought it; I wouldn’t evaluate a past deal on current or future economics.
