EA charging questions for new Lucid Owners w/o free charging

Anyone know what happens after the 1000kWh credit is used up, or the term expires? Does plug and charge still work (e.g. can EA billing be linked to the car, seamlessly), or does it require extra steps (card swipe, etc), at that point?

I don’t think anyone has experienced this yet, but my expectation is that plug and charge will continue to work and you will be billed via your Lucid account.

I leased a 2024 Lucid Air Pure at the end of July 2024 and was under the impression (and of course cannot find anything to substantiate it in all my lease docs, etc., Arrg!) that I had 1 year of complimentary charging with Electrify America. I did go to Service Summary on my Lucid app and I get what BillHartman67 shows in his graphic, but I do not get any service dates, hmm? I have charged several times at Electrify America and it was free. Just pull up to the charger and the car and charger negotiate and plug in, life is good! Today I received a notice from Lucid telling me that my complimentary charging was due to expire on 2/5/2025 which is a little over 6 months of having the car. I did write customer service about it, we'll see where that goes. Anybody else have something like this happening to them?

For the first time, I was charged at EA. I charged up Sunday evening for free, but Wednesday the plug and charge would not work ( same location as Sunday evening). I kept pressing the Electrify America button, unplugging and replugging, and pushing the button, but I needed to get the charge going. I went through the station prompts and validated my cc on file (Lucid asked for a CC on file two weeks ago, but I have never been charged), and it started charging. The screen looked like it normally did when handshaking with the car, but I did not stick around as I needed to get some shopping done (Walmart) while charging. When I came out I noticed a charge amount. When I unplugged it became very clear that I had been charged for the session. Was this an anomaly, or are other people seeing this? I purchased the car In August. Somewhere I found a $1,000 credit or 1 year (which ever came first) regarding EA charging. I know we haven't charged enough to meet the credit.

I believe

I believe it was 1000 kWh or one year, not $1000….

After the email of comp. electrify charging ending on Feb 5th, I'm actually being charged after visiting EA this past week even after updating info on the Lucid site. I got mine on August and the app initially said free until Aug 2025 no cap on kwh and upto 350kW, but couple months ago the app said retail price. 6 months in, it ended for me? I'm frustrated.

Did your contract or agreement provide you with free charging? If not, consider yourself lucky for those 6 months, since they were gratis but never promised.

If you were promised longer in your contract or agreement (or even by your sales person, if in an email, perhaps), then @marqie may be able to assist.
