Defrost Unavailable

Just this past weekend, I have been getting an error on the left side of the cockpit that says:

"Defrost Unavailable - use caution if view is obstructed and contact Customer Care"

CC asked me to do a infotainment reboot. Unfortunately, that did not correct it. This AM, I noticed it again and it happened to be cold so I turned on the heat.....which only blew out cold air.

Has anyone had this issue?

I just have the same problem, no heat or defrost from Ac system.

Any suggestions?

Yes I've hit exactly this symptom. Here's my post from last winter.
Net net: a component failed, no defrost nor cabin heat until I got it in for service to replace.
Might be the same root cause as yours, probably is, call to customer care may confirm.

Thank you for this update as this is a serious situation that needs to be handled immediately before winter sets in, and I have a 232 mile trek to the lucid service center to get this replaced.

I recall that there was a recall for this particular issue. I could be mistaken

Thank you for this information, as this is time sensitive while I make plans for the ideal weather conditions to drive up to Seattle to make the trek to Seattle
