I picked up my Lucid Gravity yesterday afternoon and did a few errand runs. The drive feels great - I sold my Mercedes GLE because I got this and I would say they are both really comparable. However, towards the end of the day, a few (dreaded) issues started showing.

1. The frunk sometimes does not open properly. It needs a couple of tries. I think some latch/knob is not releasing itself as I can hear the car trying to open it.
2. The driver's side passenger door did not close properly for a long time. Finally, I had to get inside the car and fiddle with the door opener knob until the electronics engaged.
3. The massager's touchscreen suddenly became unresponsive. I just left it as is yesterday night, and this morning, it seems to be working again. I don't know what the problem was or how it got fixed.

What do you suggest I do?

4. This is not an issue per se, but I hear a faint whistling sound inside the car sometimes. Havent been able to figure out if its coming from maybe the windows or where.

I'd say it's time to call service and have them make a few adjustments.
 
1. Needs latch adustment (needs service)
2. Can you elaborate? What do you mean by "didn't close"?
3. This was likely just a software glitch.
4. This is probably the AC vents, but you can test this by swapping them around (upper, lower, defrost vents, etc.) and see if that changes the whistling. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

I guess its time to reach out to support.

Got it; sounds like the cinch/soft-close motor didn't cinch it in. Does it close just fine if you "slam" the door closed? Does it close fine if the window is fully open?

(trying to debug what the issue might be, not asking because I don't believe you or something)
(I really don't like adding these disclaimers, but apparently people misread what I write, so I'm trying to be extremely clear)
 
also know for software glitches try to do a reboot
click the X and microphone at the same time while pressing the brake down
in about 15-20 seconds you'll see a message to the left to release and it will reboot the system

in extreme cases (I havent tried this yet) do a hard reboot where you continue to hold the buttons and brake long (about a minute)
 
Frunk getting stuck? Sand paper!!

Modified the frunk bezzle trim to create a bigger opening for the striker to operate with the latch. Tested auto open on frunk and is opening as designed. - service center notes, not mine!
 
For the whistle, look over the hood area around Lucid lettering, the nose piece sometimes gets unglued and creates a space…and whistles

I believe that @borski has added enough disclaimers for 2026. Those in favor can say "Aye"...
 
After I picked mine up we discussed the "due bill", but didn't get to working on it until after new year's. By the time the Lucid Mobile Service van showed up I had 2 or 3 issues and a long list of questions. Jason was super patient and went through all of it with me, even making adjustments to things I hadn't noticed before his arrival.

The frunk issue is common on arrival. There are two plastic bolts/bumpers under the hood on each side. They sometimes settle during transport. Backing them out a bit lifted the hood enough that the powered struts could take over and latch worked correctly. That was one of my issues.

The whistling could be window alignment or trim. Lucid does treat interior cabin noises as a problem and will help you locate it.

My frunk was deremeled by service, had struts adjusted, etc. Three times and it still doesn’t open on first try. Also tried adjusting the pads or whatever. That worked best…for a day. I gave up for now. Next big service visit, it’s on the list.

Massage screen often freezes for me. Going out of it and back usually helps. Or a nice long sleep.

Get out of it quick. Tip of problems galore iceberg. Run don’t walk to burn that dud back in. Wait til ya can’t get into car, screen goes blank when driving & endless err code pop up messages.

It’s literally 3 known problems that should have been adressed prior, yes, but now they will be. Except for @hmp10 i haven’t seen an unfixable Lucid yet.

It’s also worth noting that Lucid voluntarily participates in the BBB Vehicle Program which has very clear guidelines of when you can request a car be returned.
