As of Lucid Air software version 2.8.0, you can set an Amperage limit for AC charging. Once configured, the custom power limit activates automatically when within 160 feet of a saved location. This is a new option on the charging screen. When the Lucid mobile charging cable is plugged into a NEMA 14-50 receptacle, its Amperage limit is fixed at 40 Amps. If it is used on an existing circuit with a 40 Amp breaker, the Amperage needs to be throttled back to no more than 32 Amps which was not previously possible. Continuous electrical loads, such as charging an electric vehicle need a circuit that is at least 125% more than the listed current. I wish I had known this feature was going to be implemented, because I purchased a Grizzl-E EVSE specifically because it allows setting the current limit via DIP switches even though I was getting the included Lucid Mobile Charging Cable. Lucid needs to modify the description of their Mobile Cable to indicate this is no longer an issue.
