Curious, anyone else with a problem free Air?

2025 Lucid Air Pure
Got my 25 Pure in July, so far zero issues (except door handle....freaking doors man.....). I've read tons of issues as I've lurked the last few years, and as they say - bad issues get more press than no issues - but seriously, am I the only one with literally no functional issues? Note, I do not have DDPro, so don't experience the hands free issues.

Never had any car play issues, always connects when I get in. Zero hardware issues literally (knock on wood). Only gripe I've had in almost 9000 miles is just the unreliability of the door handles presenting when I walk up with the occasional tapping my foot as I wait for the "wake up". Everything else, just works.

Not saying anything about missing features, I came from a '22 M3P and I miss many every day software features, but I feel good knowing software will come. Hardware would scare me in a new vehicle, but so far, utterly flawless. Genuinely curious who else has had a near flawless experience from day one?
 
My experience with my AGT22 is also almost issue free. Except from the Air Compressor recall, things are smooth on the hardware side. Including the « never works when you need it » key fob experience.

I do have some software issues, Tidal being the bane of my experience, and I have a long list of bugs to share with the software team.

But mostly issue free experience
 
Similar here..just did a thousand mile road trip earlier this week and the only issue I had was Spotify crashed on me. Once. Other than that I pretty much drove hands-free for a good 45 minutes on the freeway using hands-free drive assist. I just surely hope I did not just jinx it but mostly a good experience now.
 
Almost zero issues with my nearly 4-year-old 2022 Air GT with 60,500 miles on the odometer. Only on the second set of tires, which look new. Original brake pads (since I hardly ever use mechanical braking with regenerative braking). Just had a routine annual service and no issues at all. This is the most reliable new car I have had -- many FEWER issues than the last 5 Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche or Cadillacs I have had. Love my Lucid.
 
I had an issue with build quality that was exacerbated by failed repairs, but as far as fundamental "can I drive the car today" issues, none to speak of.
 
The only problem free Airs are with unobservant or indifferent owners. The "just carry a FOB like it's 2010" types who post everywhere to pretend there isn't an entry issue. "Just logo reset" every time there's a software hiccup, because that means it doesn't exist.

The issues most talk about are fundamental, and universal. Your enjoyment of the vehicle will be directly correlated to your tolerance of them.

I like and appreciate these comments a lot. Couldn't agree more.
 
Ive had mine since Nov 2022 and had zero drivetrain issues. The only "major" repair was replacement of part of the rear bench seat that was causing a creak. Always remember people are more likely to post about negative experiences than positive ones. (not to say there have been serious issues).

My key fob and passive unlock via phone has also been perfect since day 1. Passive unlock disables itself when I'm home and pressing in the car handle also works 100% of the time to wake it up immediately.

I don't carry a key fob. Only my iPhone. No entry issues for a long time (years). If you are having issues, contact service. Rarely logo reset anymore. If you have to do it frequently I suggest contacting service.
 
My car has been problem free. I have reset the car twice since I've had it (I'd have to look up how to do a reset right now). However I am definitely not OCD, nor am I the kind of person that goes hunting for problems. I use the FOB, and I can get into my car without issue--certainly more easily that I could with my last car (a $125k Audi).

I’m not having any problems with mine. I feel for you though as the ones you’re having, even the minor ones you describe, appear to be making you miserable.
 
I own a 2019, just replaced a 2017 and owned a 2011 before that. All required you to carry a key fob. I swear I think the reason modern vehicles are so expensive and unreliable is the steady list of features that people expect to be "standard" on all new vehicles. I love fully featured cars, too, but have a little sympathy for the guys trying to make all of these "required" features work on a brand new vehicle.

It depends on what you consider a problem. I've had my 2024 Pure for almost 18 months (~20K miles) and I haven't had anything I would consider a problem.

What has gone wrong:
  • Random false error messages (like "Right Turn Signal Fault") that go away on their own. Those happened more frequently in the past, but almost never do now.
  • Once the trunk close button wouldn't close the trunk so I used my hand.
  • The one time I did a "logo reset" was because the reverse camera stopped working for a couple of days.
  • I do sometimes have to wait a couple of seconds for the doors to unlock.
What has gone wrong that might not be the car's fault:
  • Sometimes my phone won't connect with Android Auto, but I can still use bluetooth.
  • Very rarely when my phone is connected I can't make calls or use voice commands. (Although now that I think about it, that hasn't happened in quite a while, so it could have been a SW thing they fixed.)
None of those issues has required fixing so I can't reasonably say any of them are problems.
I've only been to the service center once and it was for a recall, which is completely normal.
I do carry my key fob, but that's because I have an irrational distrust of the mobile key.
 
I’ve had my ‘25 air touring for a little over a year now, and while I guess I’ve had to do maybe four or five logo resets for random software glitches, other than that no issues at all. (I have to restart my computer more often than my car…)

I shut off automatic lock and unlock, because I walk around with my phone in my pocket near my garage a lot…. But manually pushing in the lock to open it works every time within a second or so. (if it doesn’t, I just double check if the phone is awake and then it does.)

I haven’t charged a lot out in the wild, but it was seamless every time.

Living in Maine, it does help to preheat the car if I’m gonna be going further than a five minute drive to the store. As for the ace HVAC in general, setting the temperature several degrees more extreme than what you’re aiming for seems necessary, but once I do that, I’m always comfortable, summer or winter. (that need to set it a few degrees higher than I want for heating, or lower than I want for cooling, is also something that is routine with the mini splits in my house)

Frunk and trunk have worked fine, and there’s been nothing that I’ve had to call Service about. Just had my one year check up, and Natick was a breeze to work with.

I’ve been a steady reader of this forum for the entire year (and prior), so I certainly was primed to be aware of all the possible glitches, and my “tolerance” for things being not-quite right isn’t especially high…. But count me as a happy camper so far!

How do you lock it?
 
My 2023 Air Pure AWD has been quite trouble free over 25 months and 21k miles. Minor issues that even not-so-early adopters should expect, such as DDP needing to be recalibrated, wind noise abatement and of course our goofy auto-open issue, but nothing that has ever stranded us, or given us pause. That said, I am happy that I bought the car after it had been in production for quite a while, as a lot of the kinks were worked out by then.

This mirrors my experience almost exactly. Good luck with the storm, but as a Mainah I know you're used to this stuff. Nice it is happening on the weekend (somewhat).
 
‘23 touring with 38k miles - most trouble free/reliable car I’ve ever owned… at any price. Carry phone and card as backup, don’t think I’ve ever had to use it; had screen go dark once… just parked (no reset) and started again and it never came back. Sad how much it’s depreciated… but still make excuses to drive it!
