As noted in a separate post, I brought my car to Goose Island, Chicago for its annual service. That's also the location from which I picked up my Air Touring in February, 2023. When I picked up my car back then, the place was bustling. There were two delivery advisors and lots of activity. They had a fridge filled with soft drinks for customers.

Yesterday, the place looked like a mortuary. There was only one employee on duty with no one coming or going during my brief time there. (There were technicians in the adjoining service area.) There probably were a dozen cars in the delivery area, but I suspect many of them are waiting to be sold and not being prepped for an arriving purchaser. The fridge is now stocked with tiny bottles of water. I asked my service advisor, a very nice person, how come it was so quiet. He said it was busier early in the year. It was uncannily gloomy. (Also be careful of those little metal tables next to the sofa in the welcome area, they are razor sharp and I nicked my leg on the way out.)

We were the only customer there when we picked up our car in March on a Tuesday. There was one more delivery after us that day. The delivery advisor said they’re busier in weekends because that’s when most people want to pick up their new car. And at end of the month because of the incentives.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it concern for Lucid. I’ve been to many car dealerships during a weekday and they’ve been empty. Weekends is usually when they get most traffic.

Yeah, I'd say this was just timing.

The fridge situation speaks volumes. It explains the stock volatility as well.

Sorry, your attention to details just cracked me up :)
The important detail is what brand of water are we talking about here? Great Value or Poland Spring, or what?

For perspective in northern CA compared to 12 months ago, I have seen a lot of Lucids on the freeway. Daily as a matter of fact. Today I walked out to a local main road and there were 3 within minutes. Definitely did not see as many on a daily average compared to a year ago. 2 years ago even fewer. Noticed that most did not have glass roofs.

Interesting questions. One could say you are too well informed, and you are asking very pointed questions, heavy on symbolism. Are you an insider? Can you tell us where Lucid's stock is going to go tomorrow? Comeon, we're all friends here.

I see a Lucid in the road every day now, definitely a common sight. Car sales always fluctuate- weekday vs weekend vs holidays etc

Saw 3 Airs in Manhattan today, 2 models S and 1 Cybertruck in NJ.
