I was reading an article about Tesla rewriting code to allow the use of alternative chips in it's vehicles.

I wonder if Lucid did something similar and whether that is part of the widespread software issues.
 
Who knows as communication does not appear to be a strong priority.
 
I would be surprised if Lucid's software group, based on early results, has the level of sophistication that Tesla's software group does. Tesla has been at it quite a bit longer.

I agree. That level of programming and quick pivoting is something I doubt Lucid has today and probably not in the near future.

Tesla is a rarity in the auto industry to be able to do that and it comes down to them designing the chips in house also and therefore allowing them to adapt quickly
