Lucid Air
The last few times I've charged by car, the app will send me a notification ever 10-15 minutes advising "Lucid charging session started". I don't know if there's an actual problem with the charger or the battery, the app or all 3, so just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks!

Is it very cold outside? Is the car unlocking because you are nearby it? If the car plugged in, and the battery needs to heat itself up or for some other reason the charge level dips below the intended maximum, it will start charging again.

It's in my garage, and I charge at night, where the temps here in Colorado dip in the 30s, but this just started happening within the last month (never happened last winter). The notifications literally come every 10-15 minutes for the full charging session (around 7 hours)....key isn't nearby so it's definitely not unlocking or anything.

Have you watched your charging session for time that it notifies you that charging has started? (ie 10-15 minutes)? You may notice something useful...

Lucid is constantly tweaking the battery monitoring and related systems, so it's entirely possible that it is trying to heat up the battery during that time and using a bit of energy (I know, different from last year but that's very possible). A workaround, if you can't unplug it, is to (temporarily) reduce the maximum charge level via the app.
