Met back up with ChargePozitive at the new BP Pulse charging location near LAX on Friday. 48 chargers in total with 16 400kW NACS chargers.

Tested out the Gravity with a 5% to 80% charge

should've come to the one in Duarte 😄

Man @HC_79 that is awesome. Out of curiosity did that station show up in the Gravitys navigation? The charging is so mind blowing, like the fastest speed I ever hit in my Air was 301kw and that was at 8% SOC and it held it for 10 seconds. You were holding 327kw at 39%!

Surprisingly, given it had only been 2 or 3 weeks it’s actually showed up in the chargers section. Even started auto pre-conditioning when I got closer to the site.

That’s great, I was worried about the Gravity charger navigation database as it’s not like you can choose “BP” or “Alpitronic” but I guess if you say all chargers it was listed which is excellent. The Air navigation doesn’t show lots of DCFC for me like the Shell recharge by the airport here is invisible to the Air.

Interestingly, it’s searchable in the app but the car actually lists out all the chargers if they’re in use / available where the app just gives a high level summary

On our road trips I've found I have to verify all the details and availability in PlugShare before I accept a planned stop.

This was a one off test and with 48 chargers at least one was going to be working. On road trips I’ve set the route planner to default to Tesla only. I’m not dealing with the headaches the other charging providers cause.
