I am visiting relatives in Columbus, Ohio – 100 or more miles from the closest Lucid service center. One of the pins in my charge port is bent and I can’t get the charging cable to connect. I’ve tried a number of local service centers and EV dealers. Suggestions?
Thank you!

They were not able to repair at Lucid Service center? How have you been driving without being able to charge?

I haven’t been to the Center - this just happened since (at?) my last charge. Down to 6% and the charge cable will not completely connect. I’ve tried multiple chargers…

Since he said that he's 100 miles away from the closest Lucid service center, I'm guessing he's going to dealers that sell EVs - Hyundai, Tesla, Ford, etc. They are not going to be able to replace any parts and they sure won't take the responsibility of trying to bend the pin back into place.

Yep and yep.

I had this happen. Are you getting a message on the cockpit panel or it just won't charge?

In my case, they had to replace the entire harness going from the charge port down to wherever. It was a really big deal. As far as I could tell, happened at a GM charging point.

How badly bent is it? Worth trying to bend it yourself?
Happy ending. Tow driver and I worked on it - non-metal prod - and got it back in place. Now happily charging. Will have Lucid KOP take a look when we’re back in PA - with fingers crossed it continues to charge.

Any idea how it happened? I'd really like to not bend mine.
