As someone else said on Reddit, cars are towed all day in Beverly Hills. Lucid, Tesla, BMW, Ferrari, etc. Lucid routinely uses a tow truck to take cars in for any needed service and avoid wasting customer time. Especially for someone as busy as Timothee Chalamet.

So it could, in fact, be a sign of going the extra mile on Lucid's end.

It's also a 2023 so for all we know it just needed annual service.

Or he got a flat.

Or, perhaps, something broke.

Speculation is fun?

But enjoy the outrage from the daily mail? :P

I’m predicting a bunch of raccoon bandits came in overnight and dropped the battery out from underneath it and stole it, hence the tow.

Here’s the proof 😂

This is definitely it.

God, I really hope this is it

Perhaps they needed to change the tire / wheel configuration to something that would handle the dunes of Arakis. Those sand worms can be tough to outrun.

I would suspect he has new cars provided as part of the contract, not a 2023 with rock chips and bugs splattered on the lower grill....

those darn trash pandas, first they went for the catalytic converters, now they're stealing our batteries! Their greed is limitless!

Or he’s getting something to replace it. I work in the world of the 1% and some but not all go through cars like I change my socks. Especially new or newish $. Many of the old money crowd drive relatively normal cars for what seems like ever. It’s interesting to see them drive their 10 year old Lexus to a private airport to hop on their Global Express to Europe. That ‘s a $300,000-$400,000 round trip.

That’s because it’s a station car (or the maids). The good stuff stays in the garage until needed for a high profile destination

Wonder why they are taking it in an open top, you would think an enclosed transport is better for privacy and protection, if you are a celebrity
