Lucid Air Touring 2025
I keep running into an issue where only the left side a speakers work and the center channel and right side do not. Usually I don't notice this until I start driving and turn on the audio. It requires a brake pedal restart (not air logo). When the center channel doesn't work, the cell phone audio doesn't work either so it's frustrating when I realize it when I'm trying to make a phone call. I confirm this issue is occurring by moving the balance to confirm the speakers are not working properly.
*If it's not this issue, it's an issue where Spotify stops working and then displays a server error (air logo restart works).

I'm basically restarting the car 2-3 times a week due to the various software glitches I've been experiencing lately. Most happen while driving so I would have to stop to restart. 2.6.0 seems to have amplified the occurrence of these issues. Called customer service and the person redirected me to service center who will call me back in 48 hours. Side note: Customer service line has gotten noticeably worse from when I picked up my car 6 months ago to today. There isn't much they are able to troubleshoot, and they have no idea what the ongoing/reported software issues are. It's almost better to call the service center as your first point of contact instead of calling cs line.

I'm driving a 2025 AT so having constant software issues requiring a restart is insanely frustrating.

Anyone having or had similar issues and had it fixed? if so, can you share what the service center did so I can inform mine when they call me back?

It's always been better to call your local SC first. CS should really only be called after hours in my opinion. I haven't called them in probably 2 years and instead always call my SC for the rare service visits I've needed. It definitely sounds like you have something wrong, so I'd be curious to see what comes of it.

Had a mobile tech come out. Tech mentioned that I'm not the first person to report speaker issues. He also was able to replicate the Spotify issues on the spot which was great. All in all, we both know it's software related, but he was nice enough to try and troubleshoot the best he could. He said he did a full center console reinstall and he wasn't having the Spotify issues afterwards. I did notice that the center console was much more responsive afterwards.

My software gut instincts are telling me they have a bunch of memory leaks in the code that cause issues overtime on top of the code issues. Like whenever speaking with anyone at Lucid, there is a huge update coming soon but no timelines able to be given. Overall feedback seems to be that software quality in 2.6.x has been subpar and it was rushed out - potentially to give the community something since it was already the longest gap between software updates. The steering wheel heating not staying on is apparently a known 2.6.x.

I did provide some feedback around having some of their most reported issues in a known issues list that is curated for public consumption. I don't need them fixed immediately, but it would be great to be able to reference a list before calling. It would be just a much better experience, BUT I expect I'm in the minority with this feeling and the general public would be hurt by more known issue information. Don't know what's best, but I would like more communication versus less.

Speaker problems here, too. I use spotify and xm mostly and only noticed the "break" occurring between trips, never 'live'. So far, a logo reboot solves it, but it's so frustrating. I've only had the car about 5 weeks and have experienced this 4 or 5 times already. Not counting the trip to service so they could reboot my TCS device.

Same exact issue and frustrations. 2025 Touring. Still on 2.5.
