Hey guys and gals,
My wife just picked up my Air from the 2 year maintenance and CCC upgrade. The cost of the maintenance was $575 (not surprising) but they charged me $1857 for the chip upgrade!!! I was under the impression that it was $950 parts and labor. Was that a limited time offer? Has anyone had it done recently? Was it that much? Thanks
 
I picked up my car last Monday.
I was charged $700 for the part and $275 labor.
 
Hope not, I've had mine ordered from Tysons for a while and put me off till January as they have none. Other parts needed as well now (4 door handle assemblies).
 
$700 parts plus $250 labor here.

I had this problem too; they had to adjust the service invoice, but they did. I didn’t have to fight them, just tell them.

It’s possible they’ve changed the pricing, but my guess is it just needs adjustment.

Looks like I paid $25 extra.
Not enough to worry about though.

It's not going to change your life, but is noticeably a bit quicker in daily use. The downsides are the cost, having to re-do profiles, seat etc positions, sign in to streaming apps, download offline maps, and reboot a couple times.
