Gruyere is so worth it, even for slightly more than a Corvette! People who've made mac and cheese (really, anything involving melting cheese) know what I'm talking about...

(definitely one of the funniest posts I've seen here, and reminds me of @hmp10 asking his boss whether he bought cars by the pound!)
