Carplay Screen freezes after update to 2.1.47

i experienced this with Waze. going to Lucid Home and coming back to CarPlay fixes it.

I've had problems way before the recent update. Always stopped working during the most opportune times. Hopefully, they'll fix carplay in 2024, that's all I care for.
