Not happy with the screen layout. Looks like the integration software was written by a 6th grader. Everything is oversized and does not fit on the Lucid panel. Can’t get to the right most apps as they are cut off by the curved screen. If they just made the size smaller, it would have fit on the rectangular portion. I mean come on, a 150k luxury car and the screen looks like this?

I’d do a Bobby Reset (switch to guest profile then back to yours) to see if it resolves

I think for first version of integration it’s outstanding. My only nit is I don’t like that you lose the Lucid time clock when CarPlay is active. I get CarPlay has its one but it’s so small …. Can’t we have both

We can have both the clock and CarPlay.

It ought to Just Work (TM), complete with synced audio. That is, you'll get sound from your car and the video will play on your phone.

I think I need to find the setting to sync the audio.

That is what I thought, but my phone is not set to a big sized font and the display setting is not set to zoom in the phone. I went back to verify those settings.

Already done a reset (Actually 2) It is always the same.

I would try the following if you already haven’t:

• Insure your phone is up to date
• Unpair your phone and BT pair again. Go to the phone’s CP setting under general and be sure to remove the vehicle as well before repairing.
• Try USB connection method vs wireless
• Try changing to a different wallpaper
• Reboot your phone

If none of these resolves, then it’s time to reach out to Lucid CS

If I want to watch a video on on my phone, do I have to turn off my Bluetooth or turn off CarPlay in order to get sound? I’m new to CarPlay.

If you are hooked to CarPlay, the sound will usually come through the speakers. You can unhook from CarPlay by using the control center on your iPhone.

do you have text size settings turned on in Accessibility on your phone? Settings app > Accessibility > Display & Text size.

Haha WTF, is your phone in some accessibility mode? It doesn’t look like that on anyone else’s car.

Interesting. I wonder why when I played a video it did nit come through the car? I’ll mess around with it.

CarPlay is awesome. Stop complaining people. And hold off on the stampede, based on EVERY other OTA to date we know it doesn’t go to every car all within a nanosecond of eachother, it takes days to roll out. It has barely been 24 hours. The culture of instant gratification the world is stuck in now is really dragging me down.

Here are some initial observations:
-Tidal CarPlay and Apple Music CarPlay do not currently play true Dolby Atmos like the Lucid Tidal app does.
-Trying out Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze in CarPlay makes me appreciate the beauty of the Lucid satellite view navigation more, plus the finger swipes/zoom is better in the Lucid.
-ABRP is pretty cool in CarPlay, predicts your destination SOC%
-EA app in CarPlay doesn’t appear to work at all.
-SIRI commands for text/reading back messages works excellent in the car. Love it.
-If you don’t care about Atmos, then having Apple Music in the car now is great.
-The interface is exactly the right size for the glass cockpit, I can envision no other way Lucid could do it and have Apple approve it.
-Good job Lucid, thanks for adding this much requested feature!

I am still waiting, sometimes I am in the early group, sometimes in the last group and usually somewhere in the middle. In the overall scheme of things, it is not a big deal one way or the other.
