Ever since the latest update (2.6.16) with android app version (2.3.2), I noticed really low efficiency in my car (ex 0.6-0.8 mi/kWh). The other day, I got in my car and was ready to drive and noticed that 5kW was already used even though my car was in the garage and fully charged overnight. This brought on some suspicion so I checked and saw that my car keeps unlocking/staying unlocked even though I have passive unlock disabled in the car. For context, I work from home and my office space is the room directly next to the garage but 1 floor above. I'm guessing what's happening is that the Lucid app is triggering and unlocking the car even though I don't want it to (only basing this on the fact that the app has been eating away at my battery). In the app it says that "Passive unlock is temporarily disabled" but that doesn't appear to be the case. Also, most of the time when I walk up to the car and press the handle in, the car doesn't respond until I open the Lucid app in my phone (yes, it's kept as always on). I honestly liked the way lock/unlock worked previously as I would only need to turn on my bluetooth before I got out the house. I can't even do that anymore since it seems to mess up the Lucid app and is a bigger headache to get the app working again if I do it. Is anyone else having similar issues? I'm not even sure how to remedy this without literally moving my office space elsewhere which probably isn't a very viable solution for me. Haha!

Interesting. What happens to the app when you turn off Bluetooth? The app saying “passive unlock is temporarily disabled” is a new notification for the latest app release. But the disabled passive unlock is something that was already implemented, just didn’t have a accompanying notification.

Have you noticed the car making more noise than usual. I’ve notice sometimes I’ll leave the air conditioner on and the car won’t passive lock, so it runs a while and kills efficiency.

If you can give me some more detail I’d love to do some tests on my vehicle. I had mine outside at a friends house last night which got down to about 58 over the night. It only lost ~1% SOC at 50%/49% SOC.

Currently sitting at 49%.

Also, check that passive lock is actually disabled, as an update might have turned it back on if you’re receiving the notifications for it.

Sorry that was a mistake on my end, it says "Passive Unlock disabled. Operate locks manually". I also checked the vehicle and it does indeed show that passive unlock is disabled. If I turn off bluetooth, I get notifications saying that Lucid turned off bluetooth (irrelevant imo). On top of that, when I DO re-enable bluetooth, the car does not recognize my phone's mobile key at which point I can only unlock the car with the mobile app and have to enter my pin to drive the car. I can only get everything to reset if I disable the Lucid app from staying always on, clearing it from the active apps, going into settings and force stopping it (and I think also restarting the phone at that point). Too much headache lol

Are you trying to use the passive unlock while having passive unlock disabled? I am not sure if you can just use the mobile key without having passive lock enabled. It would seem to me that if the mobile key is designed for passive unlocked that if you disable it, it’s not going to work.

I could be wrong, but I will try it when I get back home.

No, I want the car to not automatically unlock (aka door handles automatically opening when nearby) when I am near it. I want it to only unlock when I go near the vehicle AND press the handle down. I just went to the car and did the Air logo reset and hope that fixes whatever is happening. So far, the car hasn't automatically unlocked with me nearby.

You are correct. If you’ve disabled Passive Unlock in the vehicle, it should only unlock when you are nearby *and* press in the handle.

I suspect the reboot fixed it.

Haha, I stand corrected. Opened up the Lucid app and saw that it showed the car is unlocked. Went to the garage and did indeed confirm that the car is unlocked. No handles were pressed.

Weird. That is definitely not supposed to happen. Did you re-confirm the setting is toggled inside the car?

Is it also trying to wake the antenna to try to connect to Cellular or your wifi that is sort of in range?

Heres a video showing what's happening

The phone display turning off is irrelevant to the issue as it still happens with the display always on.
