Cannot play Pandora on Car Play - Receive a privacy notification

On Saturday, I experienced for the first time the inability to play tunes from Pandora on Car play. I reset several times. Each time I attempt to play a selection I get the screen shot below. I have gone into my iPhone and cannot identify anything that is blocking it = but I am not a digital native. Any ideas of how to resolve this?

Of course I did - while not driving! I found nothing of help. However, later last night I picked up my iPad and saw a notice that Pandora could only be played on one device at a time. That was helpful. I shut down Pandora on my iPad and IPhone. This morning Pandora came up without the notice. But guess what, it is a morning when there are no sounds from my dashboard. So I am having breakfast and will go back out after the car has reset and try again. How do I move this to resolved?

maybe you know the answer. I own a BMW 430i and Pandora plays just fine on CarPlay. On my new 2025 Lucid I can’t get Pandora to play on CarPlay. It comes up, and has all my stations on it, but there is no sound when I chose a station. Same iPhone, same settings. My guess is that Pandora is blocked by Lucas be cause they have some sort of agreement with Sirius XM.

It should work, there's nothing blocking it. Make sure your phone is choosing the right output - you can select either "Lucid Air" or "CarPlay", and you want the latter.
If that isn't the answer, does anything else play from your phone in the car? A random youtube video or another music app?

thanks for replying. I can select TuneIn on CarPlay and I can select anything I want. The problem with Pandora is that no sound come out when stations are selected. So I guess the phone is selecting the right output if other apps are plying from CarPlay.

Did you check the Control Center to be sure of that?

yes. the CarPlay symbol is lit and the CarPlay symbol is on the pilot panel. It’s just a Pandora problem. My next step might be to reboot the infotainment system.
