Hello, can current owners take a look at their camera when you reverse? Does it show in the top left there is some sort of obstruction like glue or something? It’s translucent but you can see there is blockage. My Sa says he will look at it while my car is with them for the next couple of days. I’m in the loaner now and it has the same thing except mine is a little larger. This is a pic from the loaner one.

That is your car. You're seeing your car. :)
The fisheye effect just makes it look diagonal, but it's just another bit of your trunk lid slightly in frame just like at the bottom. It's slightly different in different cars because the cameras are angled ever so slightly differently.

Same on my Touring and normal as far as I can tell. It seems like an update might have widened the displayed view or made more use of the screen space because I only noticed this late August or early September.

Yes, it's part of the back end of your car that is visible when that camera is zoomed fully out. A properly calibrated camera wouldn't be zoomed out far enough for that to show.

When I received my Air, all of the cameras were well calibrated and looked great. At some point following a software update, the front and rear facing cameras started showing this sort of image. I think that update accidentally corrupted the calibration info in the video processor. I complained, but was told that it was operating within spec. A year later a camera failed and had to be replaced. Following that replacement, they re-calibrated all of the cameras and that fixed the too-wide view of the front and rear facing cameras.

The SA stood behind it and I could see him through that section, just blurred. I am glad it is the same for all cars then and not an issue per se.
