My 23 AGT is unresponsive to either key fob (changed both batteries to be sure) and won't wake up or unlock from the app. Car is in the driveway and I've been on hold waiting for Customer Service going on 1hr 35 minutes now. App states that Customer Service is open until 9pm PST. Tried texting but no answers to those messages either.

Anybody home??

Car received 2.10.0 yesterday but I drove the car out of the garage and parked it in the driveway afterwards just fine. Went to hop on to get to work this morning and...nothing.

What's my next move? Stay on hold? Roadside assistance?

Did you try your keycard on the B pillar under the camera?

Can the car sit in your driveway overnight so you can get CS via phone or text in the morning? I would keep contacting CS via text until they respond and call in the morning. Also, call your local service center if it's nearby in the morning. I think all roadside can do is tow your car.

I've been there before with a dead FOB key but the keycard on B pillar saved me.

I have been having problems getting my Air to recognize my mobile key as well, I do not have a solution. If you have the card try using it on your B Pillar to unlock and see if it wakes the car

The few times I have issues, the credit card key card has always saved me.. thus I always carry that with me! you never know if your phone gets bricked or whatever either.. just wise to carry that 'save me' card

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, the credit card key doesn't work, either.

I gave up and called roadside assistance after 2 hrs of Customer Service hold time. After 1 hr, roadside assistance called back to let me know they were "unable to find a provider" to tow the vehicle. This was at 8:30pm on Monday night. I had to schedule a pick up for next day first thing in the morning.

This morning, roadside assistance calls to tell me that they are still "looking for a provider." This is in the Sacramento metro area, not in the middle of the sticks. I have a Lucid Service Center 20 minutes away. 🤷‍♂️

It's going to be 101 out today. Thank goodness I'm not on a road trip with my kids stuck on the side of a desolate highway somewhere.

After 3 years and 41,000 miles Lucid has helped determine my end of lease decision on this car and future with the brand.

Lucid cars may be wonderful to drive WHEN they are working. But if something goes wrong, they are the worst car to be in on the planet. Customer Service, Roadside Assistance and particularly Service Center repair work can be exceedingly hard to reach, and take forever for work to be done. Lucid is fortunate to not have sold enough cars to be rated by JD Power or Consumer Reports for reliability and customer service as those scores would probably be horrible. Everyone is talking about the Cosmos being the savior of the company but it will not matter how good it is if people won’t buy it due to be worried about what happens if there is a problem with their car.

Something has changed. A few months ago, my emergency brake seized and I was stuck on the road. Customer Service picked up right away and I had a tow truck arrive in 15 minutes. The car was driven 40 miles to the service location and I got a Lyft home 30 miles from where I was stuck. Loaner was ready for me the next morning. Car was repaired in 24 hrs.

This is a 180 degree change in the experience. No one answers the phone. I even chose the call back option on the customer service line and haven't received a call back in 1.5 hrs this morning. No one available to tow the vehicle. Something strange happening here.

Also getting this when I try to reach using the text option on the app

they need some QA help too. I've given up getting my car fixed. Its just not going to happen.

They use a 3rd party service, and they set a limit of what they will pay. So they say "we got a car 20 miles away and will pay $100 to move it" and then it goes for bidding. If nobody accepts it then they say they 'can't find a provider' basically.

My bet is you have a dead 12V battery for some reason, if it's not responsive to anything. If you want to try fixing it yourself there are jumping instructions in the owner's manual. The jump points are up in a wheel well, not super easy to get to. AAA or others should hopefully be able to follow those instructions too if you'd rather offload the job.
Not making excuses for customer care, just offering a way around.

100% my experience, unfortunately

I agree something has changed. This is not the experience I've had or that folks are used to, though it looks like it may be 'normal' for today. I strongly suspect (and hope, in addition) that they are addressing this ASAP, as this looks to have been a boondoggle of a change.

I can't for the life of me get someone at the Houston service center to pick up the phone or respond to emails. My car was towed there on Saturday and I have not clue what's going on. I've had to sit on hold / call back (2.5 hours) with general support for them to try and contact the Houston service center with no success. They just sent an internal message to them... so now I just... wait?

Napoli, get on fixing service and communication issues!

I hope he knows!

Call the 800 number they can transfer you direct, that's the best way to do it.

I just got back from Houston SC picking up my GGT that had been there for 3 1/2 weeks. I think that the only reason it got moved in for service yesterday was that I called HQ Customer Service and threatened Lemon Law suit due to my car being in for same issue twice and now at 50 days in service within first 7 months of ownership.

Plan on your car sitting there for at least 3 weeks before they ever get to looking at it. Don’t expect regular updates as you will hear nothing until car is finally done. If you have not at least gotten a loaner yet, the phone number of the service rep I was dealing with (at least via texts) is 346-201-4641.

I have called HQ customer service a couple of times and even they can’t get through to Houston SC via phone. Only thing that works is to hellraise and have them elevate via HQ management to Houston SC.

How long does the 12 volt battery expected to last in the Air? I have a AGT.
