I recently was contacted by someone interested in my Lucid, a listing I posted at least six months ago. It had all the signs of a scam. The person wanted to have it picked up and trucked 750 miles away. When I told him that would not happen until the cashier's check cleared my bank the person lost interest. Amusingly, the first contact said his wife loved the colors, but the last contact said his wife didn't like the colors which is why he changed his mind. In any event, I would be extremely cautious about selling your Lucid to someone you cannot meet in your bank lobby to deposit the funds.

Also beware of scammers selling merch they don't have--particularly chargers. There has been at least one person posting a charger for sale. This person had a post count of only one or two, and the photo of the charger they were "selling" was stolen from another post here from months earlier. Buyer (and seller) beware.

We do try to catch these but it is hard; please report if you discover fraud.
