I think its an interesting subject to share with you guys.
So, i have contacted the customer care of lucid to know wether or not later in future i would have to change only the defects modules only or replace the entire battery modules. And here is the response that i received from them. Which is very interesting to consider how expensive it can get when you face an issue with only one or two modules.

Are you getting close to 100k miles on your Air? I wonder if there has been any owner with an HV battery replacement out of warranty yet?

I wonder if this occurs if they would also buy your existing failed battery back from you as they could remanufacture it as well?

Are there any tests that can be done to test modules or overall battery efficiency?

While I am aware of the api page that you can login to read your battery metrics I am not sure if I understand when there are warning signs or if it can isolate individual modules.

Also, does anyone know if there os an actual cost for replacing the whole 92Kw battery for an AT?

It is not recommended for any battery type, and especially Li Ion, to mix new and old cells. By the time a battery pack is both out of warranty and failing, the entire pack is old. Adding a new module would stress both the old and new batteries, likely leading to repeated failures.

Is there any reason to expect the battery packs wouldn't last at least as long as Tesla's pack seem to be lasting (over 500,000 miles apparently)? https://www.drive.com.au/caradvice/how-long-do-tesla-batteries-last/

I'm not sure I would worry much about this. According to this article, in the USA, cars average 16.58 years with an average mileage of 156,470 miles when junked. So assuming those numbers are primarily from ICE vehicles, you are still likely to be way ahead than you would with an ICE.

I've watched some third-party Tesla repairs where Tesla claims that an entire battery needs replacing at a cost of $24,000, but the third party garage can replace individual modules for only a couple hundred dollars. As the electric car industry matures, I suspect this will become common. But for now, the manufacturers are taking the easy way out. If I were forced by buy an entire new battery, I would insist on receiving the failed one, as it has significant resale value to the third parties who are already refurbishing packs.

When I needed to replace the engine on my son's Jeep out of warranty, the cost of replacing it without returning the damaged engine was significantly more than the broken engine was worth from anyone else. Not sure if battery packs would be the same or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if the car manufacturer wouldn't do the same thing (i.e. have one price for a new pack without providing the old one, and a much lower price for the pack when you return the old pack).

In ksa the cost can reach up to 120k SAR according to the technician. So in US i guess it can be around 45k USD
