Why is the car set up to only charge for 416 miles rather than the advertised 520 miles?

Which model?

That sounds like your charge limit is set to 80% which is the high end of the recommended range (50-80%) for daily use. Frequently charging to 100% will cause the battery pack to degrade faster.

"Dream Edition Performance – offering 1,111 hp of output and 2.5 seconds of sprint time – was officially rated by the EPA at 471 miles with the 19-inch wheels and 451 miles for the 21-inch rims. The Grand Touring received an EPA rating of 516 miles (19-inch wheels) and 469 miles (21-inch rims)."

I have a Dream Edition Performance with 19" wheels but have never seen 471 miles on a full charge.

I get 446 on the 21s on the rare occasion when I charge to 100%, so it's not that far off.

Wonder why the large delta between Dream 19 vs. 21 and Grand Touring 19 vs 21. 20 miles diff for the DEP and 47 miles diff for the GT. That seems wonky and the GT number sounds more real.

446 on a full charge for the DEP is legit.

That's about what I get.
