Once upon a time, Audi promoted the Solar Sunroof option for the A6 and A8 models. It was essentially an automatic cabin ventilation system that operated without drawing power from the main battery or starting the engine when the car was parked in the sun for a long time and started to overheat.
I feel like a feature like this should be mandatory in all EVs, since the power consumption would be negligible (just running the fans without the A/C), yet it would keep the cabin air from getting so hot thanks to continuous circulation.
In an ideal world, though, it would be great to have the ability to create custom automation scenarios (for users who clearly have too much time on their hands
