Audio Issues

I have the same issue with no audio from any source. Weird part is that when Waze app speaks, the music can be heard. It's as if the audio is muted but when Waze speaks, it temporarily unmutes the music. My temporary "fix" until I can pull over is to keep hitting the main menu button which unmutes the music for about 1 second, I've gotten pretty good at tapping that button. This is a software issue and should have been fixed a LONG time ago.

Can we please tell Lucid to fix it

No, but it still cuts out within a minute of starting. Once I get the radio back on it stays on the remaining drive. I was thinking it might be a CarPlay issue. I need to disconnect CarPlay and see if I have the same issue.

Let me help him. When I start the car, the audio is sporadic in whether it turns on and plays. I’ll drive some where with no media, leave the car, and when I get back the audio is working again. If I go to favorites, play fm radio for a short while then come back, the sound comes on. I am using native TuneIn, not thru Carplay. Then there is the annoying “no media” selected
Have you found a fix for the "no media" error message while using Carplay? In my case its always when Im streaming via TuneIn.

Hoping this is the correct thread for my issue. Periodically I will get an error message saying my TuneIn favorite radio stations "have no media." Is there a workaround to prevent this from happening again? It goes away on its own eventually when I park and leave the car. Playing Apple Music through CarPlay is never a problem.

I'm a new Lucid owner (woo hoo!) and loving my car. Purchased 2023 AT directly from the company. A week in and its great - except that I have this audio issue as well. Audio starting cutting in and out @ 5:10pm ET on Wednesday (7/23). Yesterday morning - no audio for anything - including turn signals and driver prompts - approx. 7:20am. Read these posts and did my first infotainment reboot and its now working fine.

Aw just had my first Audio glitch since the 2.7 update. I really thought they had it licked! Soft restart resolved it for me. Back to the drawing board for Lucid I suppose.

I suspect the underlying problem still exists, but they're rebooting the system automatically more often now in an effort to hide the problem. Since 2.7 I've had several instances where I'd get into the car and have to wait a few seconds while the system boots up.

Ohh that’s a good idea 👍 it reminds me of those older it memers it’s not working did you restart it. Auto restarts genius

I suppose it's a good idea in the same way that duct tape is a good idea when your tire is leaking air

I have the same issue - had to wait for car to boot up on 3 separate occassions in last 2 weeks, it has never done that before (since 06/2023); also have the very rare "no audio" day when I notice after I have taken off that there is no audio; usually dont have time for pulling over and reset, so I just drive to work in silence... by the time I leave work, audio magically works again?!

Polestar did the same thing when they couldn't get their cellular modem to function properly in the early P2s. For a while they would tell owners to do an awful "raindance" type of restart procedure to bring it back to life. Later on they released an update would just have the system reboot on its own constantly rather than having the user do it. By the time I got rid of my P2 I had to wait for the thing to boot up nearly every drive. And that system took a loooong time to boot.
