As an owner, why are you investing in Lucid?

Investors rant for poor executive performance…..just facts…..just repeated what Lucid executives said to draw in investors….i forgot to mention the 50k vehicle Saudi commitment to buy, where has that gone? That was another reason I Invested. Anyone know how many vehicles Saudi Gov actually bought?
Your posts are nearly all paraphrases of each other. Your last sentence could have been posted without the repeated preamble, and would have been fine.

We have tried to be quite kind and open and lenient, but I am asking you, once again, to stop repeating yourself. It is against the guidelines.

If you have something new to add, please add it. If you’d like to repeat the same thing, please don’t.

It is your choice whether to do so or not, but the consequences should be quite obvious. I would very much like you to keep posting (as I would like everyone to stay involved) but you are making that difficult to do.

If you continue, we will have no choice but to prevent you from repeating yourself, since you will not.

Seriously, anyone know how many vehicles were bought?
Brother it’s time to tap out on this one. You’re gonna get a time out.

As an owner of a Lucid, I wonder about investing. People smarter than me are not advising against it. If the company is about to launch its Model Y killer and I missed out on getting in at $15, I would regret it. However, if I got I at $50, I’d be disappointment. So I’m just watching, I’ve never done self directed investment.

Is this someone targeting Lucid or insiders know something and this company is failing? Below $14 which $1.4 is too much and Lucid need to talk something.

Its algorithms, whenever they see earnings not meeting expectations, analysts cutting price targets or debt raises, they sell off. That’s why it’s a slow trickle. Couple of percent every day. It will stabilize at some point, trick is to know when.

But with almost 40% short interest, one good news will make this rocket. That’s why I am buying every dip. Have some side money and building up a 100k investment. Even a 50% climb to $19-$20, means a nice 50k investment profit. I’m positive trend will turn in 2026.

Also have another nice amount in my retirement account which I will never sell until I retire. They make damn good vehicles, and they have basically unlimited financial backing to succeed. Saudi wants that factory in Saudi to be a success.

The fact that Lucid pursued a 1:10 stock split (a rather drastic step) tells me they knew there was a likely chance of more downside coming before what they hope is the corner-turn before they run out of funding.

It's the same pattern for most start-ups in a difficult industry to break into... start off with excitement... run into troubles meeting expectations... and then IF they survive long enough through the pullback to turn the corner before running out of funding, it's off to the races.

We're in that middle phase right now. But at least Lucid has made it far enough to establish significant innovation and get 2 premier products to market (albeit delayed). The company's survival really does look to depend on the mass market success of the upcoming $50k Earth as a volume seller. I plan to keep holding on for that, knowing it's probably no better than a 70-30 proposition (if even that high).

But a daily 5 to 8% drops from last week seems odd.

Next support at 12.62….thats why no one is buying here and algos are selling. Only thing that will stop this is positive news which is unlikely anytime soon. Looks like stock split did not encourage institutional buying as CEO said. It just tanked the stock as they all downward stock splits do.

I do own shares of Lucid stock and hope that it will be of value at some point. The production and company are still growing and new models in development. Patience and a long view are required for any investor.

It was weird the CEO pivotted to saying they want to be an 80/20 mixing of licensing/cars. I haven't ever seen that work, and what would they license and to who?

I feel like its a done deal now. My gut says institutions may follow liquidating there positions now if Lucid dont come out and say anything. This all seems like a trap to take private at a fraction of penny.

So the idea there would be that they tank the stock price, and the PIF buys all the shares and takes it private? Leaving investors holding the bag?

All guesswork.

Yes, not sure my guess is correct. But Lucid’s silence is making me believe it more harder ☹️

No public company would ever ever ever say that they would refuse a bid for the company to stay public or confirm that they want to go private. If they said either management would be sued to pieces.

Lucid is a public company. There’s very little they could say without running afoul of the SEC.

It's also a 'high-beta' profitless stock, so it's in a category that get sold off first no matter what when the market is upset, as it is since rate cuts aren't coming as fast as expected....and the govt shutdown actually did some serious damage.

They won’t, what’s the point in having such tech and letting others use it. Reason Saudi investing billions is they want to keep the tech in Lucid. Bob Lutz said EV is the future…..patience will reap rewards

They won’t….Saudi taking it private means 2 billion to pay of other share holders, then spending billions more to become profitable. And they get a bad name in the market. They wouldn’t have given Lucid a new 2 billion line of credit if they wished to take it private. They want to keep the company “ American”
