I do not know when Lucid updated the Apple Watch app but it works great. It appears right next to my workout icon by just turning the crown. It wakes up the car quickly and gives me several options from turning on climate control, unlocking the car, opening the frunk or trunk, etc. It is not as complete as the app on the iPhone but seems to work much faster. Anyone else having a positive experience with this on their Air?

Neither my phone app nor my watch can connect to the car right now. This has been a more frequent occurrence of late, and it is starting to become annoying.

The phone app always works, though waking can be a little slow (30-45 sec?). The watch app always says unable to connect—I’ve presumed that’s because I have kept Wi-Fi off for the car, due to many suggestions here on the forum that having both Wi-Fi and cellular on can cause various snafus. Except for the watch, I’ve never really felt like I was missing anything by having Wi-Fi off.

My watch is WiFi only, no cellular—is yours cellular, or do you WiFi on both watch and car?

Mine is cellular as well and works, but I haven't turned off Wi-Fi in the car either. So far, they just work...

I assume that you are using the latest IOS 26.3 for the phone and App version 2.13.0 (4028)? At least that is what I am using.

I'm running 26.4 beta and it is working, so we can look forward to that update not messing anything up...

I keep both WiFi and cellular on in the car and have never had an issue. My watch is both also. I was having an issue with CarPlay not starting and having to toggle the Blue Tooth on my phone off and on for it to connect. But with the latest Apple update last week, 26.3, I have not had that issue.

The WearOS version of the watch app is still lagging behind a little ;)

Ok I now am able to connect to my car again. For me, the watch app is the same POS it has always been: three pages--one shows the car and range remaining. The second page is blank, the third page has a radio button and nothing else.

The reason I turned off my home wi-fi for the car is because I was having problems getting some of the recent OTA updates. As soon as I turned off the wi-fi the OTA update downloaded without any problem. So I have left it off since I really didn't see any benefit. Also my Apple Watch doesn't have cellular so it only works when my phone is nearby. Never saw the benefit of having cellular on the watch since I always have my phone with me.

If you have a guest network setup on your WiFi router, you can check if your car will work better with it. I can't connect to my car if it is connected to my main WiFi, but with the guest it works fine. No idea why.

Same here. My Tesla chargers wanted 2.4Ghz band, so I'm using guest network and everything has been great!
