It has been 6 hours. I have tried both the Logo reset and the brake+X+mic reboot. No change. The car is obviously in very good AT&T mobile coverage. And so is my phone.

Any other reset I can perform to wake up the TCU?

Other things to try: reboot the app, reboot the phone.

OP here.
I opened a service appointment and I got a date of two weeks out. But the car came online on its own 30 mins after my service appointment got scheduled. Now I don't know if someone from the service Dept did some remote action that resolved the issue or the fix happened on its own. While I was in this offline mode, I had driven down 30 miles in the San Francisco Bay Area and I obviously had cellular coverage.

As a techie, I look for root cause analysis for all problems I deal with but for this one I don't have clarity on what was the issue and what fixed it.

My car showed the same on Monday after the new update. Went away same day.
I'm starting to learn to just ignore some things with this car. The rest is so good, I'm not sweating the small stuff.

Great feedback. I will attribute this issue to the recent update. I too did the update earlier in the week so the timing matches.

I agree there is so much good in the car and we need to ignore the small stuff.

Same thing happen to me right after upgrade to 2.8.5. Did multiple resets, power cycle and no change. Ony toime car is online is when its connected to my home WiFi. Called service center and got an appointment in 3 weeks????

I've got the same thing happening after the 2.8.7 update. The app shows "vehicle offline" after I park it at the train station. Once it it plugged in and charging, it comes back online. The cellular signal also seems to be quite poor versus the signal on the phones (verizon and AT&T). I've rebooted, deleted and reinstalled the app. Still happening.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Continue having issues and service studio was no help, asked me to delete and reinstall app…..

If you are able to open the car with the fob, there is likely nothing wrong and the message is generated because of a connectivity issue. I had a similar problem when I parked my Air in my office building's underground parking garage. The app worked when the car was at home but not in the office.
Fixed by connecting the car to my company's WiFi network, which fortunately has a strong enough signal to be picked up from my assigned parking space.

I've been having this issue for days now. Car is parked in the same place it's always parked, and the app says it's offline.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and reboot the car, but nothing works. It's frustrating as hell.

I'm confused. Are you all trying to use the car and are not allowed to, or are you just frustrated to see it offline when looking at the app? I see it show as offline once in a while, but have never found the car unavailable when I wanted to use it.

I can't use the app to connect to the car so that I can turn on the ac or heat ahead of getting in the car or open the trunk/frunk. The car works fine once I get there with the FOB.

I’ve been having this issue since I updated to 2.8.9. Offline, then back online the next day. I literally just sit in the car with CarPlay and Spotify running and the app would still say the car is offline. I just updated to 2.8.16 and drove for 20 minutes. App still shows car offline.

It has nothing to do with Lucid’s provider. I’m still driving my boring commute everyday and park at the same spot in my office parking lot. Nope. Offline. Reset does nothing. It’s getting cold and snowy and it’s important for me to be able to heat up the car with the app.

To clarify, does the app say that the vehicle is actually 'offline', or are you by chance just having a problem getting the car to wake from the app? For many months now, I have found that I cannot wake the car from the app if I have the car's wi-fi turned. The app will also say that the vehicle is 'offline' from time to time, but it will never let me wake the car from afar. Once I turn off the car's wi-fi, the app works great no matter where I am, auto-open lag aside.
