App changed

Opened my iPhone Lucid app middle of day. All normal. See lock status, nav, charging, locationetc.

Opened app tonight :

See very very little. Opening screen:

“Connect Lucid ID to your vehicle
“Learn how to create a driver profile”

On bottom all I have is “service” and “vehicle info”.

BUT it shows vehicle name at top ( the one I created in December.) and it’s mileage and full VIN. And it shows my name and my referral points.

No other iPhone app is misbehaving. My Gravity was charging in garage when I left it. Was on 3.4.4. It had a WiFi connection.

It says App Version 2.14.0 (4091)

Did Lucid Motors crash their database?

Did you try the usual fixes? Force quit the app? Restart your phone? Delete the app and reload it?

Mine shows that it’s in service (it is, but that’s new), however the battery keeps blinking. Idk why.

Try delete and reinstall

I have signed out, rebooted phone and signed in. Will try deleting app and reinstalling. Really doubt but will do.

We did have it happen once or twice before where their servers went down and everything was fine a few hours later.

So I signed out, deleted app, rebooted phone, downloaded app, signed in. And

I saw my car charging with hours to go to my limit but immediately had two permission notices. To click yes to: send notifications and and then allow location always. Clicked yes. Screen blinks and it’s back to ‘link your id’ and no information on charge ie back to the limited info I started this thread with.

the description in the app store says the new app version wants the 3.5 gravity software. so i’ve been wating to update the app until the car gets the update. so far, no invitation to install 3.5, though.

BTW. On my iPad it does the same thing flash typical info when connected then blinks and goes to sign in and after I sign in says to go to gravity screen to link. ( after I saw vehicle info correctly in first few seconds of opening all. ). Someone At Lucid likely scrambled server.

Feel free to update the app; it is backwards-compatible. The new features in 3.5, such as 'remote start,' won't work yet, but everything else will continue to work as is. (this is true for any of the ios updates)

The 3.5.0 update overview says:
"For a seamless first-time experience, please remove (forget) the previously connected devices and re-pair them again to connect to CarPlay or Android Auto."

Perhaps this might help your problem.

Same thing happened to mine yesterday when I dropped it off at SC.
App is back to normal as of an hour ago.
Hopefully, that means that they are done with my work order items.

I really miss my Gravity; I am driving an Air Pure loaner.
The Air's efficiency is nuts. I've averaged ~4.6mi/kWh over 2 days without even trying!

I had a similar thing happen (showed an Air that wasn’t mine) and one call to customer service and they got it fixed. I’d try that.
