Android App Update

If you don't have the update yet, you can download the APK on APK Pure or APK Mirror. I just manually updated cause I don't want to wait.
Is this safe download? Any concerns with anything malicious being attached to the apk?

I don;t see any Lucid Motors apps APKs on either of those sites when I search. maybe I'm missing something.

Actually sites' search engine found nothing but search on Google did. Go figure.

Installed the APk and app works great ! Migrated all my settings etc. automatically !

FWIW, it lost the mobile key during the update on my phone (Galaxy S25 Ultra).. After many failed attempts to configure again, I ended up removing the phone from Lucid (key and bluetooth), Lucid from phone (bluetooth), reinstalling the app AND restarting the phone (the first 3 steps weren't enough). Needing that last step tells me it may have been my phone/PhoneOS, but just adding this experience in case it helps someone else.

Anybody get this (masked my email address)? My vehicle interface is also acting janky, wondering if something is corrupted in my profile

The updated app shows the color of my Touring (PB&J - peanut butter and jelly) along with a bear logo on the app instead of the Lucid logo. Curiously, my wife and I both have the Samsung S24 but her phone is still on the old app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success. I told her to be patient, probably tomorrow.
Downloaded today on my wife's Samsung then re-enabled mobile key. All good.

Since I'm not home and can't test the new app on my car, is anybody noticing a decreased lag time to unlock doors, etc when in range on this new app?

Not that I could notice. Seems to open as soon as I open my door from the house into the garage, like always.

Boy, I was really hoping to see a consensus on this thread of improved lag time with the new app. Tired of standing at my drivers door in parking lots in inclement weather waiting like a fool for the car to open.

I got tired of the embarrassment. So I will usually push the handles in once..and if it does present the handle and unlock...I use my key card right away.

Good plan. I'll try that from now on

Have you tried awaking & unlocking your phone prior to approaching your car?
I haven't tried that yet. I suppose I just have wishful thinking that Lucid will improve their remote key software after owning a Model S for years that was seamless. I'm sure Tesla didn't start out that way, but you can't blame someone for holding onto hope for improvement. It just boggles my mind how they figured out all of the hard engineering on a vehicle (battery tech, motors, space usage, drive, handling, ergonomics, comfort, etc.) and not provide a reliable key. It's such a superior car to Tesla.

Yeah, I agree with you. I really hope they can figure out the entry issue since it's so integral to user experience. It's practically the first step to using the car.

I think this changed when I downloaded the new app. The notification icon for Lucid charging or any other messages was always a Lucid style L. But now it's the Lucid bear. I like it!
